Purpose/Overview

Educate local and regional investigators and specialty providers about IBD-related research being undertaken at Penn State College of Medicine and facilitate scientific collaborations relating to IBD among basic, translational and clinical researchers.

Audience

U.S.-based physicians and researchers in the field of gastroenterology, as well as pharmacists and other interested health care professionals, may all benefit from attendance.

Overall Objective

The overall goal of our conference is to improve the care and management of patients with IBD through the promotion and enhancement of IBD-associated research work at our institution and throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region. This will improve the care of patients with IBD by increasing health care provider’s knowledge of the emerging strategies for the treatment of IBD.

HIGHLIGHT
